Vincent died today.
He was actually getting better. They were weaning him off the respirator and the fentanyl drip so that he could slowly wake up from his drug induced coma. Then his heart just stopped. They tried to bring him back for ten minutes and then my Mom told them to stop because there probably was nothing left of his brain at that point. It is what he would have wanted.
He was a fantastic father and grandfather. I will miss him forever.
